Spring in the PNW is a mixed bag. The weather oscillates for a few months between rain, cold, sunny days that hint at summer, wind, and more rain. Yet the trees are in full bloom and iris are unfolding everywhere we look. The days are lengthening again, and there’s no doubt that we are slowly creeping out of a dark winter. We’re itching to ditch our bulky sweaters, but it will be a while before we’re ready for those summer dresses. Let’s be real: it can be hard to dress for the spring we are ready for while a chill remains in the air.
I hear the Pacific Northwest is the only place where grey is considered a color. It must have something to do with the tone of our sky most days, especially this time of year.
