Spring in the PNW is a mixed bag. The weather oscillates for a few months between rain, cold, sunny days that hint at summer, wind, and more rain. Yet the trees are in full bloom and iris are unfolding everywhere we look. The days are lengthening again, and there’s no doubt that we are slowly creeping out of a dark winter.
